Plans for the 2019 Annual Convention are well underway
and include some new events, activities, and entertainment as well as informative Continuing Education sessions. This year we will have everything from live entertainment to Trade Show activities which will include a game of Poker for participants and Trade Show/Sponsor representatives as well as a Caesar Bar.
Along with this announcement, we will be posting an updated schedule of events with two changes of note: Board President Jim Carty will be hosting an Open Forum for DAC’s only. This will be held at the same time as the Open Forum for DAR’s and Candidates.
The second change we are announcing is that we have replaced CNA211 Understanding Highest and Best Use, which was being held on Thursday, May 30th, with a workshop covering “Advanced Reporting Issues”. Members attending this workshop will receive 4 CE hours.
Please visit georgianbayhotel.com for details on offsite activities and registration. For planning and organizing purposes registration forms are due by April 30th so don’t delay in registering and making sure you get a room.
Do not forget to attend the AGM on Tuesday, May 28th; this is your chance to have your voice heard, participate in the voting process, and get a better understanding of the direction CNAREA is going in.
Convention registration form is available at cnarea.ca under announcements.
